Well, California has had one of the worst fire seasons ever. Basically since we've gotten back from Southern California, Donnie's been at work anywhere in the state. Most of the fires have been way back in the hills. Started by dry lightening and hard to reach. Surprisingly, they get to stay at hotels during the night and then fight the fires for a 24 hour shift. Then they're off for 24hrs, so I decided to go visit Donnie in Ukiah! 2 hours up 101, definitely a new discovery.

Cutting line for one of the fires, they came across a huge marijuana operation way back in the hills. Surprisingly the operation had permits, but the owners still hid!
