Waterslide

One of Jackson's favorite parts of the trip was the waterslide.  Each day we would take a break from Disneyland to go to the pool and nap.  Day one we napped, day two we went to our pool at the Disneyland Hotel, and day three we decided to head over to Paradise Pier since staying at the hotels allows you to go to any of their pools.  Paradise Pier had a waterslide we could see from our room.

We weren't sure Jackson would be allowed on it since it looked like this,


But he wanted to go on it so badly and the lifeguards said as long as he could ride all by himself, there was no height requirement.  



First time up, we all went so Donnie could go first to catch Jackson at the bottom, and I could sit Jackson down and tell him when to go at the top.  Jackson watched Donnie go and got right in after him, not scared a bit!  Jackson loved it and after the first ride, Donnie had to take him up those stairs about 40 times, I took him up about 10, and he definitely went down that thing around 50 times.



Every time he would go first, the lifeguard at the top would tell the lifeguard at the bottom that "the little guy" was coming, so they could help him up.  He would just sit at the bottom waiting for help to get up and out.  Then when one of us would come after him, he would go to the bottom of the stairs again, squealing, "Let's do it again!"



The lifeguards just loved him, he was the smallest they'd seen on it.  While I was sitting at the pool watching them slide, all of the other moms were asking me if he ever slowed down.  Nope!
