One of the other mommy blogs I read was offering something handmade to the first 5 people to reply to her post. I was #3!
But there was a catch! I too must join in....SO....the first FIVE people to respond to this post will get something made by ME! (or if they're aren't 5 people, maybe I'll make you 2 things!)
I get to chose what it is, and make it just for YOU.
Here is the deal:
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make! (although I'm hoping you do!)
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It will be done this year. (before December 31, 2009)
4- You have no clue what it's going to be, but just as a hint: I only do crafts, mostly on paper. I don't sew, knit, or really anything fancy like that.
Oh, and dont forget the catch is that you must re-post this on YOUR blog and make the same offer to the first 5 people who respond on your blog entry, thus continuing the fun!
Enter at your own risk....post a comment if you dare!

Lobster Feed!
Donnie and I were so excited to get to go to the St.Helena Firefighters Lobster Feed this year (last year I was preggo). It really is the best event.
The volunteer firefighters put on the event to pay for engines and station needs.

I think someone counted there were 60 pots!
Waiting for them to pour the pots,

Mitchel & Amanda

Mark & Maureen

They made around $50,000 in the live auction! I was not allowed to bid on this, haha

and last but not least, Jackson playing the next morning in his new hat!

Lazy Tuesday
Spring break time! Lucky me, it was my cousin Blair's spring break from Cal Poly too! She drove up with her dad on Tuesday to hang out with Janet and me! We got to have a fun day around Napa.
First, we went to Artessa Winery! Right behind our house. Beautiful winery and luckily they do Napa Neighbors! If you live in Napa you get a free tasting or glass of Champagne for 4. Janet did the tasting and I got the glass. Freebies are always a great start to the day.
Since it was Tuesday, there really wasn't anybody there and it was such a beautiful day.

Auntie Blair

I only wish I had taken pics of the sheep on the way there, tons of them! And, the cute little Jack-Rabbit we saw on the way out.
After, we walked to downtown Napa and got sandwiches at Mark's favorite, Sweetie Pies. Not finished yet, we got to try out cupcakes at Sift, yum!

Thankful Thursday
1. Donnie coming home every night this week.
2. Teacher Discounts. Have to use them while I can!
3. One ticket, one taste at the Mustard Festival! None of the wineries charging more than one ticket per taste just because they feel like it. With the extra 5 tickets we got for buying our admission tickets early, we each had 11 tastes!

Happy St.Patrick's Day!!
We had a great St.Patrick's Day!
After school, I took Jackson for a walk to Browns Valley and decided to surprise Donnie with corned beef and potatoes. No cabbage though, yuck! Donnie was doing the same thing and surprised me with a St.Paddy's day cake and beer. He was trying to hide what he was doing, since he bought food coloring for the beer. But check out the packaging and the color order,

Soooo, we had a great meal, complete with, RED BEER! So funny. Donnie actually is red/green coloring blind, but he could see the difference right away when he did it.

We may just have to make red beer on St.Paddy's a tradition!

Pink Friday
Pink Friday was Friday the 13th! Donnie, Janet, Jackson, and I attended at my school's District Office to Rally against the budget cuts and save pink-slipped teachers. Jackson was so excited! I even bought him the closest to pink t-shirt for a boy I could find. At the rally, when I was holding him by the street with people screaming and cars honking, he just loved it. Then he pooped out and spent the rest of the rally recovering...
