I guess I skipped a year for my best of the years. I cannot find 2009. Oh well. We had a fabulous 2010, I can't imagine how great 2011 will be!
So here are 20 greats of the year 2010. In no particular order.
20. Lots of BBQing.
19. Carmel weekend.
18. Being a SAHM for a while.
17. Donnie getting to go duck hunting and crabbing. We all enjoy the crabs very much. The ducks, not so much.
16. Celebrating our 3 year Anniversary.
15. Having our fist Privettson Camping/4th of July weekend.
14. Jackson turns 2!
13. Lots and lots of trips to The Bear, Italian Cottage, and Bidwell trips.
12. Chico Farmers Markets.
11. Getting settled in our new house and the moving chaos being done.
10. Moving to Chico.
9. Tahoe mid-week after the summer with Jackson.
8. Biking with Jackson.
7. A bigger house for crazy Jackson.
6. Lots of hot days and the waterslide.
5. Another year at Tahoe with the family.
4. Lots and lots of house guests to entertain.
3. Yosemite and lunch at the Ahwahnee.
2. Donnie becoming Captain for the summer.
1. All of us being alive, healthy, and blessed to be born into this world!
Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful New Years!

Polar Express
Before Christmas, we headed to the Polar Express in Sacramento. Donnie was signed up for a class in Ione the same week, so we weren't sure if he was going to be able to meet us for the train ride or not. Luckily, his instructor let him head out for the day and he was able to meet us at the station!
All the kids wore their pjs like in the book, so Jackson wore his Christmas pjs. Even some adults were in their pjs, Donnie and I decided no thank you. Jackson was so excited to go on the train. They read the book over the intercom during the ride and pass out cookies and hot chocolate. Jackson could have cared less about all of the Christmas stuff, he was way more excited about the train.
After stopping at the North Pole, Santa Claus hops on the train and gives each child a bell for the first gift of Christmas, very cute.

I actually don't have many pictures because A, I was watching Jackson by myself at the station while we waited for Donnie to get there, B, because the train is pretty old which equals small, and C, we were just enjoying ourselves too much!

Jackson's Message from Santa
It's amazing the things you can do on the internet now!

Yes, we're alive.
Just MIA. We just got back from Yosemite. So lovely. Despite the rain, hail, and freezing cold, we had a great time! Jackson had so much fun and got to see many deer and other animals. The Rangers at the Visitor Center loved him. We did a ton of walks, including Yosemite Falls, Mirror Lake. We ate lunch at the Ahwahnee, rode our bikes, and rode the bus. A great vacation!
